Compliments (only if you are genuine about it)

Compliments are great, and people love them! Although, generally speaking it is best to NOT compliment people on their physical features (unless you are completely genuine) because people will often see it as though you just want something from them – and it is often interpreted as you either to sell them something or have sex with them.

However, if that is your intention, go ahead and compliment them on their physical features (as long as you are genuine about it and mean what you say).

Here are some examples:

1. That’s a cool hat. Where did you buy it?

2. I like your shoes. Where did you get them?

3. I like your necklace (or jewelry). Where did you get it?

4. I like your energy. You seem very fun and spontaneous (or something you sense about their energy).

5. You’re absolutely gorgeous. What’s your name?
